JD Souther co-wrote some of the biggest hits for the Eagles, including “Best of My Love”, “Victim of Love”, “Heartache Tonight“, and “New Kid in Town”. Linda Ronstadt also recorded ten of his songs, including “Faithless Love,” “Simple Man, Simple Dream,” and “Prisoner in Disguise.” Souther has received countless Grammy nominations, in addition to Academy of Country Music Awards, American Music Awards, 21 ASCAP performance awards, and the prestigious ASCAP Golden Note Award in 2009. Singer-songwriter Madeleine Peyroux’s ‘one of a kind’ voice has carried the Jazz artist from busking on the streets of Paris, all the way to mainstream recognition. Through intensely distinctive renditions of old classics and modern tunes by the likes of Leonard Cohen and The Beatles, Peyroux has proved to be an insightful ‘interpreter’ with a consistently impeccable choice of material.
